Position Summary
Recurrent Energy is currently undergoing an internal HR process transformation and Workday implementation across different regions. We have partnered with Workday Professional Services (US) to implement Workday for our North America region following the Launch express methodology and will continue to rollout to other regions while adding other new functional areas.
As HRIS Implementation Analyst, you will be a key member of our Workday implementation project while responsible for managing and ensuring the successful configuration and adoption of Workday during the project. This includes defining business requirements, configuring processes and data within Workday, testing functionality, providing end user training and guiding project to go-live.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing and configuring Workday solutions and a deep understanding of HR and payroll processes.
During the project this position will collaborate closely with our HR stakeholders to analyze their business processes and requirements, work together with Workday consultants to make sure the configuration in Workday is meeting those requirements, and provide ongoing support and optimization.

Location: LATAM & APAC – Sao Paulo, Brazil OR APAC region (Hybrid OR Remote)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on at least one Workday functional area.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Workday requirements.
- Collaborate with Workday consultants to support designing, building, configuring and testing the Workday solution.
- Play an active role in your area of expertise, being a point of reference for sharing knowledge and information, collaborating to improve internal capability.
- Participate in design of integrations between Workday and other systems
- Conduct iterative testing, oversee user acceptance testing and system adoption by stakeholders
- Participation in knowledge transfer and the handover from Workday Professional Services.
- Develop training materials, job aids and support documentation for users
- Deliver end user training and provide go-live support.
- Continuously monitor post go-live stability and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience with Workday HCM implementation projects, in a global internal setting or consultancy.
- Experience with handling local statutory requirements, especially in the areas of Absence, Benefits or Payroll.
- Existing Workday certification will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Multi-task and prioritize work with competing deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service & results oriented.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrated success working within a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work collaboratively and flexibly across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to travel on-sites for critical activities.
- Able to communicate in a secondary language, namely Japanese, Korean or Portuguese will be a big plus.
